‘Go to Pakistan,’ Teacher Accused of Making Anti-Muslim Statements to Students in Karnataka Transferred, Details

Due to incidents in Delhi and Karnataka, teachers are being investigated and may face legal action.

Karnataka News: A teacher from a government school in the Shivamogga district of Karnataka is the subject of an investigation after being accused of uttering anti-Muslim statements to kids. During an argument, Manjula Devi allegedly advised the kids to “go to Pakistan.”

Teacher Transfer and Investigation Initiated Following Allegations by Muslim Students

The event led to the transfer of the instructor, who has been teaching Kannada at the institution for more than nine years. After some Muslim students filed an official complaint against her, the situation came to light. Despite the lack of any hard evidence supporting the purported statement, Block Education Officer P Nagraj acknowledged that action was taken in response to the pupils’ allegations.

Delhi Teacher Faces Legal Action for Allegedly Questioning Students About Partition Migration

In a comparable incidence, four kids from a Delhi government school asserted Hema Gulati, their teacher at Sarvodaya Bal Vidyalaya, questioned them about their family’ alleged refusal to relocate to Pakistan during the Partition. These accusations led the Delhi Police to file a case against Gulati.
