Greater Noida Authority CEO Imposes Heavy Fines on Negligent Companies, Report

Noida News: Ritu Maheshwari, CEO of the Greater Noida Authority, fined 14 companies a total of Rs 70 lakh on Saturday while inspecting a number of projects in the city. Nine companies were each given a fine of Rs. 5 lakh for failing to perform civic duties. The Greater Noida West drain was discovered to be filthy during an inspection, and the CEO levied a further fine of Rs. 5 lakh against the company in charge of maintaining it. She also requested that the company be put on a blacklist.

Fines Contractors and Sets Road Improvement Plans in Motion

Four contractors who were working on the dedicated freight corridor between Delhi and Mumbai were fined Rs 20 lakh for neglecting to maintain a 130 m section close to the railway line in Tilapta Chowk. The CEO also gave personnel instructions to record negative comments about the contractors for failing to maintain the centre verge of the road connecting Greater Noida West and Greater Noida. Maheshwari then looked over the Shahberi Road. She gave instructions to officials to enlarge the road and keep it clean in light of the traffic issue. She also complained about several roads’ broken centre verges.

CEO Greenlights Program and Embellishes Signature Bridge for Official Inauguration

She gave the go-ahead for the beginning of the programme shortly after repairs after surveying the Greater Noida Authority-built apartments in Sector 10 and taking inventory. Maheshwari also went over the setup for the upcoming official inauguration at the Signature Bridge in Parthala Chowk. She has requested that flower pots be positioned in order to beautify the bridge on both sides.
