Greater Noida News: 4-Lane Underpass to Decongest Char Murti Roundabout, Authority's Plan to Ease Congestion

Greater Noida News: Good news for Greater Noida West residents, The Greater Noida Authority is building an 800-foot-long, 4-lane underpass on the 60-meter route in order to reduce traffic congestion at the 4 Murti roundabout. By immediately connecting Gaur City to Artha Road and through Char Murti Gol Chakkar, this subway will give Greater Noida East residents access to NH-24 via the Surajpur police line. The project is expected to cost around Rs 80 crore.

RITES Company Research Reveals Traffic Woes

The Greater Noida Authority recently hosted a presentation where they released the results of a research by the RITES Company that showed that the Char Murti roundabout sees roughly 9000 vehicles everyday, causing traffic congestion.

Rising Automobile Demand Spurs Underpass Project

The demand for automobiles is anticipated to rise in the future due to rapid development, which includes home builders delivering belongings to customers swiftly and establishments preparing to launch such as schools, colleges, BPOs, nursing homes, hospitals, and malls. In light of this, the authority is building the underpass as part of a proactive future planning strategy. It is predicted that the project will be finished in around 2.5 years.
