A political war of words has erupted in Haryana after Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Anurag Dhanda accused the BJP-led state government of failing to prevent examination paper leaks, while the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) dismissed the allegations as “false propaganda.”

In a post on social media, Dhanda questioned the Haryana government over a series of recruitment examinations and academic tests that he claimed were affected by paper leaks over the years. He listed several examinations, including Gram Sachiv Recruitment (2021), Clerk Recruitment (2016), Electricity Department Clerk Recruitment, Excise Inspector Recruitment (2016), Agriculture Inspector Recruitment (2017), Conductor Recruitment (2017), ITI Instructor Recruitment, Naib Tehsildar Recruitment, HTET (2015), B-Pharmacy Examination (2017), HBSE Class 10 and 12 Board Examinations (2025), and HSSC Constable Recruitment (2021).
Targets Haryana Government Over Alleged Exam Paper Leaks; BJP Hits Back
Dhanda challenged Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini to identify any major examination that had not been impacted by paper leak allegations, asserting that repeated incidents had undermined the confidence of students and job aspirants. He also demanded accountability from the state government over the issue.
Responding to the allegations, the official Haryana BJP social media handle rejected the claims, accusing the Aam Aadmi Party of spreading misinformation for political gain. The BJP stated that making “false and baseless allegations” has become the party’s political strategy and alleged that AAP was attempting to divert attention from its own governance record by targeting opponents.
The exchange has intensified the political debate over transparency in recruitment examinations and the handling of alleged paper leak cases in Haryana, an issue that has remained a major concern among students and competitive exam aspirants.
