Ambala Shamli Expressway Update
The 121-kilometre-long expressway would help in enhancing access to Ambala and Shamli. It would also extend towards Delhi, connecting seamlessly with the Dehradun-Delhi Expressway. The expressway would also enhance overall connectivity within the state of Haryana and adjoining areas, which will make commuting easier and more convenient for the residents of cities such as Ambala, Chandigarh, Mohali and others.
Vij also said that the construction of the expressway is about completion. The expressway would drive economic growth by enhancing mobility and business activities to stimulate regional economies.
Furthermore, the construction projects would help in generating thousands of jobs, contributing to expansion of the local economy.
Vij also highlighted the ongoing construction of the Ambala Ring Road to ease city congestion. It would allow commuters from adjoining states to bypass that would help in reducing traffic within the city’s core limits. Vij further added that there would be more infrastructure projects in the upcoming months, focusing on enhancing connectivity within Haryana and associating the state with its adjoining areas.
