Haryana College Recruitment 2025: After a two-year-long pause, the Haryana government has lifted the ban on recruitment in aided (government-supported) colleges, reopening opportunities for teaching and non-teaching positions across the state. The move clears the way for long-awaited appointments in the 97 aided colleges operating in Haryana, where more than 2,400 posts remain vacant.

Government Decision Unlocks Recruitment Drive

The decision comes after persistent demands from college administrations and education bodies. Following the government's order, the Higher Education Department has instructed the management committees of all aided colleges to initiate the recruitment process. These colleges will now be able to fill vacant posts, including those of Principal, Assistant Professor, and various non-teaching staff roles, which had remained unfilled due to the freeze.

Association Welcomes the Move

The Welfare Association of Management of Private Aided Degree Colleges welcomed the decision. A delegation from the association, led by President Tejveer Singh, met with Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini and Education Minister Mahipal Singh Dhanda in Chandigarh on Wednesday. During the meeting, the delegation emphasized how staff shortages had adversely impacted the quality of education for thousands of students across the state.

Tejveer Singh stated, “With the recruitment process now approved, the academic environment will significantly improve. Students had been suffering due to the lack of qualified teaching staff, and this move will directly benefit their education.”

In response, Education Minister Mahipal Singh Dhanda reaffirmed the government's commitment to ensuring there is no staff shortage in aided institutions either.

Recruitment Notifications Coming Soon

As per officials, advertisements for these positions will be released soon by individual colleges. The recruitment notifications will include complete details regarding eligibility criteria, age limits, required qualifications, and the application process. Candidates will be required to apply through the official websites of respective colleges once the advertisements are made public.

With the announcement, job seekers in the education sector can expect a significant opportunity in 2025, marking a new chapter in Haryana’s higher education system.
