PM Awas Yojana: Kaithal Beneficiaries Get Relief! 300 Eligible Residents To Receive 2nd And 3rd Payments By This Date

PM Awas Yojana: Suresh Ravish, the District Council Executive Officer, commented that the pending amounts would be credited directly to the accounts of eligible beneficiaries by April 20, 2026.

PM Awas Yojana: The Kaithal district council has sent a demand for Rs. 1.29 crore for completing the pending houses of 300 eligible residents in the state of Haryana. It is likely that funds would be credited directly to the bank accounts of eligible individuals by April 20, 2026.

PM Awas Yojana-What’s New?

For many months, eligible individuals under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (rural area) scheme were unable to get a roof over their heads due to no clarity on release of the 2nd and 3rd payments.

It has now been announced that the pending amounts would be provided in 4 installments under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (rural area) scheme.

Under the scheme, 3367 pucca houses were to be built in Kaithal. Out of them, 3179 houses have been found eligible. Till date, 1300 people have received the 2nd instalments while no one has received the 3rd instalment till now. In 2021-22, 822 permanent houses were built in Kaithal under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (rural area) scheme. It has now been announced that the union government would provide Rs. 1.20 lakh while the state government would provide Rs. 18,000.

Suresh Ravish, the District Council Executive Officer, commented that the pending amounts would be credited directly to the accounts of eligible beneficiaries by April 20, 2026.
