PM Awas Yojana: Detailed project report (DPR) for 5000 out of 10000 flats has been submitted and sent to Bhopal for approval. Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-2.0, construction of the flats would soon start in Sindora and Sanavadia. Meanwhile, officials reported that the overall process to obtain permission from different departments for flat construction in multi-story buildings has started.
PM Awas Yojana-Turn Of Events
DPR for 10000 flats in Sindora (Rangwasa), Sanawadiya, Umrikheda and Badhyakiima was sent to the state government for approval. DPRs for 5000 have been approved and construction of flats would soon be initiated in Sanawadiya and Sindora. Town and Planning, Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA), Pollution Control Board and the Building Permission Branch would soon give permissions before work gets initiated.

Once permissions have been received from all departments, the state government would issue tenders for constructions and beneficiary selection for flat allotment will then start.
Once flat construction gets started and completed, the residents of Sindora and Sanavadia would become the beneficiaries of seamless regional connectivity, secured homes with impressive facilities and safe neighbourhoods.
Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana
In the first phase, the corporation built about 18606 multi-story residential units (1, 2 and 3 BHK flats) on vacant government land in and around Indore. Till date, 17086 of them have been sold, 1520 are struck in RERA registrations and their bookings are presently closed.
The sites where flats have been constructed by the corporation include Narmada Complex Gommatgiri, Nilgiri Complex Sanavadia, Palash Complex One (Silicon City), Shivalika Complex Devguradia, Kaveri Complex Palda and Aravali Complex Bhuri Tekri. The list also includes Palash Complex Two and Three (Omaxe City), Gulmarg Complex Canadian, Tapti Complex Sindora, Lighthouse Canadian and Shipra Complex Super Corridor.
The constructed flats at these locations are being sold at below-market pricing. This is done to financially assist poor and middle-class individuals and families fulfil their dreams of owning a home.
