According to the Jharkhand government’s Information and Public Relations Department (IPRD), the holy congregation reflects the unwavering faith and devotion of millions of Shiva devotees. The department extended its prayers that Lord Baidyanath bless all devotees with happiness, peace, prosperity, and good health.
Shravani Mela is one of India’s largest annual religious gatherings, attracting Kanwariyas who undertake a spiritual journey to offer holy water to Lord Shiva at Baba Baidyanath Dham, one of the twelve revered Jyotirlingas.
Authorities have made extensive arrangements to ensure the smooth movement, safety, and convenience of pilgrims during the month-long festival, with thousands expected to visit the temple in the coming days.
