8 year boy rescued from borewell in Madhya pradesh, dies in hospital

In Madhya Pradesh’s Vidisha an 8-year-old boy who fell into a 60 feet deep borewell was pulled out, but his life could not be saved. Lokesh was taken out after 24 hours and was taken to the hospital as soon as he was taken out, but his life could not be saved.

Lokesh fell into the borewell while playing on Tuesday. The Collector of Vidisha has said in the statement that we could not save the child. He ordered that within 7 days all the borewells lying open in the district would be closed.

The child could not be saved even after 24 hours of effort

Seeing monkeys in the Kherkhedi plateau of Lateri tehsil on Tuesday morning, seven-year-old Lokesh started running and fell into a 60 feet deep borewell lying open in the field. He was trapped at a depth of about 43 feet. Relief and rescue work continued for 24 hours. JCB machine was engaged in digging on one side near the pit so that a tunnel could be made from the pit to the borewell.

Along with this, oxygen was being supplied to the child through pipes. The doctors were constantly monitoring Lokesh’s every move. Administrative officials were on the spot, but despite all efforts, Lokesh could not be saved.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had also kept an eye on the relief and rescue operation being carried out to save the child. He was also in constant contact with the officials. After the death of the child, now the administration is also seen in action. Instructions have been given to cover all open borewells in the district within 7 days.

The family is in bad condition due to the death of the child. Along with this, a huge crowd of villagers has gathered on the spot.
