Indore News: A shocking case from Indore has caused outrage after a woman software engineer died when a car allegedly drove into a group of residents during a fight inside a housing society.

The event happened at Sagarshree Enclave on March 25 and 26, and disturbing images later came out from CCTV footage.

Rental Dispute Turns Deadly

Reports say the fight started over the use of penthouse apartments for short-term rentals, like stays on Airbnb. People who lived there were worried about safety and security because outsiders were always coming and going.

During the argument, things got worse, and the accused allegedly drove a car into a group of people in the parking lot, turning a verbal fight into a deadly incident.

Victim Identified as IT Worker

Shampa Pathak Pandey, the victim, was a software engineer for Infosys. She and her husband and two kids had just moved into the neighbourhood.

Eyewitnesses said that she was hit by a car during the chaos and died right away. Several others were hurt.

CCTV footage is important evidence

Authorities said that CCTV cameras set up in the community caught the whole thing. The video shows the car in question driving into the parking lot and hitting people who were already fighting.

The police have taken the video as important proof in the case.

Arrested Suspect, Murder Case Opened

Indore News: Police from the Lasudia station acted quickly and arrested the accused, who were Mohit Chaudhary and his father, Kuldeep Chaudhary.

A murder case has been opened, and the car that was used in the crime has been taken away. Officials are now taking statements from family members and witnesses to find out what happened in full.
