Ladli Behna Yojana: Good News Coming Your Way! Check Your Account Today For 24th Instalment, Check Eligibility Criteria

Today on 15th May 2025, the Madhya Pradesh government will transfer monthly financial support of ₹1,250 under the Ladli Behna Yojana. Each eligible beneficiary will receive the 24th installment directly in their bank account as part of scheme.

What is Ladli Behna Yojana ?

•    MP Government started the Ladli Behna Yojana on 28th January 2023.
•    Its main objective is welfare of married women in the state. Under this scheme a financial assistance is provided to women so that they are financially independent. They can use this amount for education, skill development or other needs. 
•    As per MP government, the current beneficiaries are around 1.27 crore women under the scheme.
•    Normally, the monthly amount is transferred on 10th day of every month.
•    This month it is late due to administrative reasons. 
•    Chief Minister had cleared earlier that the scheme would carry on and more improvements would be done to implement it more effectively.

He said that the transfer of the 24th instalment of ₹1,250 to the every eligible sister’s account under the Ladli Behna Yojana will take place during a programme scheduled in Sidhi district.

Eligibility for the Scheme

The eligibility for the Ladli Behna Yojana is as follows:
•    Women residing in Madhya Pradesh 
•    Women must be married, which also includes widows, divorced and women abandoned by husbands.
•    Must be between 21 to 60 years.
•    The family income of women must be below 2.5 lakhs per year.
