Lok Sabha Election 2024: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has declared his optimism for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), predicting a complete victory in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections across the state. Yadav highlighted the initiation of the election campaign with the first Lok Sabha nomination filed from Sidhi, emphasizing the state government’s commitment to crafting a development plan for the forthcoming years. He attributed the BJP’s anticipated success to Modi’s guidance and the public’s overwhelming support, suggesting a dwindling presence of the Congress party, which he claimed struggles to find candidates for the Lok Sabha seats.

Yadav reminisced about the party’s performance in the 2014 and 2019 general elections

Reflecting on the BJP’s past achievements, Yadav reminisced about the party’s performance in the 2014 and 2019 general elections, where it won 27 and 28 seats, respectively. He expressed confidence in repeating and even surpassing these successes in the current electoral cycle, aiming for a complete sweep.

The Chief Minister reassured the public of the “double engine” government’s commitment to rapid development, invoking the synergy between the state and the central government under Modi’s leadership. This statement comes in the backdrop of the BJP’s significant victory in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, where it clinched 28 of the 29 seats, leaving only one for the Congress, won by Kamal Nath’s son, Nakul Nath.
