Madhya Pradesh CM: Budget 2023 is for welfare of every section of society

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has described the budget of the Center as the budget of a visionary and self-reliant India. He said that this is not just a budget for 2023-24, but a budget to develop the country’s economy for the next 50 years. This is the budget of the village, the poor, the tribals and the disabled. Budget is omnipresent. The Chief Minister was talking to reporters at the state BJP office on Thursday morning.

During this BJP State President VD Sharma was also present. The Chief Minister said that Anna Yojana has been started to promote the production and use of millets. Everyone called the establishment of the Central Millets Institute commendable.

Millets Production Will Be Also Encouraged

Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that provisions have been made in the budget to encourage millets. The processing of coarse grains is already going on in Dindori and other districts. This will be further expanded.

On calling the Union Budget an election budget, he said that every year is an election year in our country. This budget is the budget to lay the foundation for the future of the country. On the criticism of the budget by other parties including Congress, he said that something has to be said, that is why such things are being said. All sections have been taken care of in the budget. The Chief Minister said that a provision of three and a half thousand crore rupees has been made for the Ken-Betwa project. This will speed up the works of the project.

Chief Minister Chouhan did not give any answer to the question asked about former Chief Minister and senior BJP leader Uma Bharti’s demand for change in liquor policy.

Madhya Pradesh government is going to bring new liquor policy soon. The Chief Minister had said during the Republic Day celebrations in Jabalpur on January 26 that this (new excise policy) would discourage liquor. Due to this, there is a possibility of increasing the price of liquor in the state.

On the statements of state Congress chief Kamal Nath and other leaders that the BJP government in the state has not fulfilled its promises, the Chief Minister said that the Congress and Kamal Nath are suffering from frustration. Congress and its leaders are making baseless allegations to remain in news.
