Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, during his visit to Japan, emphasized the need to attract investment to boost employment opportunities for Indian youth. His visit aims to foster economic collaboration, encourage foreign investment, and enhance industrial growth in Madhya Pradesh.

"I am on a visit to Japan for employment opportunities for the youth and especially for increasing investment. Under the leadership of PM Modi, India is developing. Every state must focus on expanding investment to boost both GDP and employment," CM Yadav stated.

Tribute to Mahatma Gandhi in Kobe

During his visit to Kobe, CM Yadav paid floral tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on his death anniversary at the Gandhi Statue in India Club. Honoring the father of the nation, Yadav remarked on Gandhi’s lifelong dedication to the people and his role in India's freedom struggle.

"His whole life was dedicated to the people of the country. From Africa to India, he earned respect for the way he lived. His contribution to India’s independence will always remain an example of an ideal life for us," he said.

Investment Talks with Nitori Holdings in Tokyo

Continuing his diplomatic and business engagements in Tokyo, CM Yadav met Toshiyuki Shirai, President and COO of Nitori Holdings Co Ltd, to discuss investment in Madhya Pradesh’s furniture and textile sectors. He invited the Japanese business delegation to expand operations in the state, citing its strong industrial infrastructure and favorable business environment.

Responding to the proposal, Shirai expressed optimism, stating, "It was a pleasure to learn about Madhya Pradesh and its business potential." He also mentioned that Nitori opened its first Indian store on December 20, 2024, signaling growing interest in the Indian market.

With this visit, CM Yadav aims to strengthen India-Japan trade ties, ensuring economic growth and job creation in Madhya Pradesh.
