Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated the ‘Chief Minister Ladli Behna Yojana’ in Bhopal. The program aims to empower sisters by transferring INR 1,576 crore to the bank accounts of 1.29 crore beneficiaries. The initiative also includes pension and financial assistance programs.
Digital Transfer Ceremony at Kushabhau Thakre SabhaGhar
The Chief Minister conducted a digital transfer ceremony at Kushabhau Thakre SabhaGhar, marking the launch of the ‘Chief Minister Ladli Behna Yojana.’ During the event, sisters received a total amount of INR 1,576 crore through a single-click transfer to their bank accounts. Additionally, beneficiaries of the Social Justice Department’s 12 pension schemes received a transfer of INR 341 crore.
Makar Sankranti Celebrations and Women’s Empowerment
The program’s commencement on the auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranti is set to bring joy and prosperity to the sisters benefiting from the scheme. Chief Minister Yadav expressed satisfaction in initiating the program, emphasizing the cultural richness that festivals bring to the forefront.
Empowering Women for a Progressive India
In his address, Chief Minister Yadav underscored the government’s commitment to women’s empowerment, stating, “Women’s empowerment, our pledge.” He highlighted the tremendous progress in women’s empowerment under the skilled leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the past ten years. The Chief Minister assured that no efforts would be spared in the empowerment of women, contributing to the overall progress and prosperity of the state.

Acknowledging the Prime Minister’s vision for women’s empowerment, Chief Minister Yadav praised the initiatives undertaken to uplift women across various sectors. He emphasized the four categories that encapsulate the essence of India – women, farmers, youth, and the poor – stating that uplifting these categories would lead to the upliftment of the entire nation.
