Madhya Pradesh: Shivraj Chauhan sings ‘phaag’, celebrates Holi

The festival of Holi is being celebrated with great pomp across the country including the capital Bhopal. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan played Holi with BJP workers at his residence in Bhopal. Like every year, this year also CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan sang Phag songs on Holi. CM Shivraj said that best wishes to all the people of the country and the state on the auspicious festival of colours, Holi.

May this festival of colour, enthusiasm, joy and gaiety bring abundance of happiness, prosperity and happiness in the lives of all of you, this is my wish.

CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan tied the knot by singing Phag while celebrating the festival of Holi at CM House. During this, his wife Sadhna Singh Chauhan was also present with him. Many people including BJP MLA Rameshwar Sharma, former Mayor of Bhopal Alok Sharma, Minister Vishwas Sarang were present on the border to celebrate the festival of Holi. CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan also recited the hymn “mithe ras se bhari Radha Rani”.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has also extended best wishes to the women of the country and the state on International Women’s Day on the day of Holi. He said that best wishes to women power on International Women’s Day. Today women are playing an important role in nation building along with the society. The CM said that for the welfare and empowerment of sisters and daughters, we are continuously working in this direction.
