Mohan Yadav on Tuesday said Madhya Pradesh is prepared to move forward “step by step” with entrepreneurs and investors, highlighting the state’s industrial potential after the successful organisation of the Indo-French Investment Conclave 2026 in Bhopal.
According to the Chief Minister, French Ambassador to India Thierry Mathou and other delegates met him at his Bhopal residence following the conclave discussions.
Mohan Yadav said Madhya Pradesh offers immense opportunities for industrial investment due to its strategic location in the centre of the country, strong connectivity network, tourism potential and investor-friendly policies.
Mohan Yadav Government focuses on industrial expansion
The Chief Minister stated that the state government is placing strong emphasis on increasing industrial investment and accelerating economic growth. He said continuous efforts are being made to help Madhya Pradesh take a major leap in industrial development.
Officials said the government is actively promoting the state as a preferred destination for domestic and foreign investors by improving infrastructure, simplifying policies and facilitating industrial projects.
Connectivity and tourism highlighted as strengths
During the interaction, the Chief Minister highlighted Madhya Pradesh’s geographical advantage and connectivity, stating that industries can benefit from easier transportation and logistics access across the country.
He also pointed to the state’s rich tourism sector and favourable natural conditions, saying these factors make industrial growth and business expansion more convenient for investors looking to establish operations in the region.
