Along with cooperative federations, private dairy operators should also be provided necessary consultancy.

High-quality breeds of cows and buffaloes from other states should be made easily available in Madhya Pradesh.

Value addition of milk produced in the state should be done locally, and only processed dairy products should be sent outside.

Private universities should run courses related to Dairy Technology and Animal Husbandry.

These directions aim to make Madhya Pradesh a self-reliant and progressive state in the dairy sector, ensuring fair opportunities and growth for both cooperative and private stakeholders.

Chief Minister Yadav highlighted the importance of self-reliance in dairy production, underlining that the state has immense potential to become a dairy hub through structured efforts. He also stressed the need to strengthen cold storage chains, milk collection networks, and rural infrastructure to support farmers and boost rural employment.

Officials were directed to work in close coordination with NDDB experts to implement sustainable practices, improve livestock healthcare services, and promote innovation in dairy processing. The Chief Minister reiterated the government’s commitment to empowering dairy farmers through technology, education, and timely support.
