During his visit, Dr. Yadav highlighted the robust trade relationship between Madhya Pradesh and Japan, noting that the state exported goods worth USD 92.8 million to Japan in the fiscal year 2023-24. He emphasized the state's commitment to doubling its economic growth in the next five years and invited Japanese business leaders to participate in the upcoming Global Investors Summit (GIS) scheduled in Bhopal on February 24-25, 2025.

On January 29, Dr. Yadav met with Mr. Hisashi Matsumoto, Japan's Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs. Both leaders expressed a mutual desire to strengthen economic ties, with Dr. Yadav acknowledging Japan as a vital partner for Madhya Pradesh.
In discussions with officials from Panasonic Energy Company Limited, Dr. Yadav explored potential collaborations in energy solutions, aiming to leverage Japanese expertise to enhance Madhya Pradesh's energy infrastructure.

The Chief Minister's itinerary included meetings with representatives from the Japan Business Federation (Keidanren), the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), and executives from Bridgestone Corporation.
