MP Weather Update: 3 Days Rain Alert In State, Here’s Detail

MP Weather Update: According to the latest weather update from Bhopal, the rainy conditions have eased up on Sunday, even though heavy rainfall is anticipated in various parts of the state. The meteorological department in the Bhopal Circle has reported the formation of a low-pressure area over North-East Madhya Pradesh and nearby regions. This system is gradually weakening, but it’s expected that rains will persist for the next two days.

The night temperature was recorded at 24.0 degrees Celsius

Meteorologists have noted that the monsoon trough at mean sea level passes through the center of the low-pressure zone, extending over Jaisalmer, Kota, and the central regions of north Madhya Pradesh. On Sunday, Bhopal experienced a day temperature of 31.5 degrees Celsius, which is three degrees higher than the normal average. The night temperature was recorded at 24.0 degrees Celsius, slightly above the usual level.

In terms of rainfall, significant amounts were measured across various areas. Until 8:30 am, Raisen received 69 mm of rain, Pachmarhi 66.2 mm, Seoni 40.8 mm, Ratlam 37 mm, Guna 35.2 mm, Narsinghpur 29 mm, Indore 26.6 mm, Damoh 24 mm, and similar amounts in other regions.

The forecast for Bhopal on Monday predicts cloudy skies with moderate to heavy rainfall. The temperatures are expected to reach a high of 29 degrees Celsius during the day and a low of 23 degrees Celsius at night. As for other parts of the state, weather officials are anticipating heavy rain accompanied by lightning in isolated places, including districts like Rajgarh, Narmadapuram, Khargone, Ratlam, Ujjain, Dewas, Mandsaur, and Chhindwara.

In addition, there is a chance of light to moderate rain with thunder in several districts, such as Vidisha, Raisen, Sehore, Bhopal, Betul, Harda, Burhanpur, Khandwa, Dhar, Indore, Shajapur, Agar, Neemuch, Jabalpur, Narsinghpur, and Seoni. Thunderstorms and lightning are also expected at some isolated locations across these districts.
