MP Weather Update: As the weather patterns continue to shift across India, various regions brace for significant meteorological events in the coming days.
Heavy Rainfall:
- Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Kerala, Mahe, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Rayalaseema, and South Interior Karnataka are on alert for heavy rainfall, according to forecasts.
- The states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, and Meghalaya are also expected to experience isolated heavy rainfall.
Thunderstorms and Lightning:
- Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning, gusty winds, and hailstorms are anticipated over Vidarbha and East Madhya Pradesh.
- Lightning and gusty winds are forecasted for several states, including Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Rayalaseema, Coastal and South Interior Karnataka, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Kerala, Mahe, Telangana, North Interior Karnataka, Marathwada, and Arunachal Pradesh.
Heatwave Conditions:
- Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh, and North Interior Karnataka are expected to endure heatwave conditions.
- East Rajasthan and Interior Karnataka will also experience hot weather.
Other Weather Phenomena:
- Dust storms or thunderstorms with gusty winds are likely over East Uttar Pradesh.
- Hailstorm activity is expected over Vidarbha.
5-Day Nationwide Forecast:
- A cyclonic circulation over Northeast Assam and another over Northeast Madhya Pradesh will bring scattered to fairly widespread light to moderate rainfall accompanied by isolated thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds in several northeastern states.
- Fairly widespread to widespread rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning, and squally winds are anticipated over West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Marathwada, West Madhya Pradesh, East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, and Chhattisgarh.
- Isolated heavy rainfall may occur over various regions, including Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Rayalaseema, and Odisha.
- Hailstorm activity is likely to persist in Vidarbha.
