MPPSC Recruitment 2024: The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has invited applications from eligible candidates for the positions of pediatricians in the Public Health and Medical Education Department. This recruitment drive aims to fill multiple vacancies and contribute to the improvement of healthcare services in the state.
Application Process
The application process is strictly online, and candidates can submit their applications from August 13, 2024, at 12:00 PM until September 12, 2024, at 12:00 PM. Applications can be filled out and submitted through the official websites, www.mponline.gov.in, and www.mppsc.mp.gov.in. The commission will not accept any manually or postal-submitted applications.
Age Calculation
The age of the applicants will be calculated as of January 1, 2025. The birth date mentioned in the candidate’s 10th-grade mark sheet will be considered valid. Applicants must ensure that the details provided in the online application form match those in the mark sheet, including the name, father’s name, and date of birth.
Application Fee Payment
Candidates can pay the application fee using credit/debit cards, internet banking, or in cash through authorized MP Online kiosks. For details about the fee structure, candidates can refer to Appendix-03 of the official notification. It is crucial that applicants ensure their payment status reflects as “Payment Done” before submitting the application. No bank drafts or checks will be accepted for fee payment. The commission will not entertain refund requests for overpayment or erroneous payments made during the online application process.
Correction Window
Candidates are advised to carefully review their online application forms. A correction window will be available from August 16, 2024, to September 14, 2024, until 12:00 PM. During this period, candidates can make corrections to their applications for a fee of ₹50 per session. Corrections can be made through MP Online’s authorized kiosks. However, no changes to the candidate’s name will be permitted, and the responsibility for any errors in the application will lie solely with the applicant.
Applicants should note that no changes can be made to the application form during the interview stage. Therefore, it is imperative to fill out the application form with utmost care. If there are any errors apart from the name, they should be rectified within the correction period. If a candidate changes their category from reserved to unreserved during the correction period, they must pay the fee difference in addition to the correction fee. However, no fee difference will be refunded if an unreserved candidate changes their category to reserved.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must possess the following qualifications as recognized by the Medical Council of India:
- Essential Qualifications: Postgraduate Diploma/CPS Diploma or equivalent qualification in the relevant subject, Postgraduate Degree in the relevant subject, or Super Specialty Degree/Diploma in the relevant subject.
- Desirable Qualification: Permanent registration with the Madhya Pradesh Medical Council.
Employment Registration Requirements:
- Other States’ Candidates: In compliance with the final order of the Hon’ble High Court, Main Bench, Jabalpur (Writ Petition No. 5096/2022), candidates from other states are exempt from employment registration.
- Madhya Pradesh Residents: Candidates who are permanent residents of Madhya Pradesh must provide a valid employment registration certificate issued on or before September 20, 2024.
- Exemption for Government Employees: Government, corporation, and other affiliated employees from Madhya Pradesh must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) issued by their respective department/office to be exempt from employment registration.
Selection Process
The selection process and rules may be amended by the government as necessary. Any such amendments or instructions will be incorporated into the final selection result. The commission reserves the right to rectify clerical or computer errors even after the publication of the selection result.
The final selection result will be subject to the court’s decision in ongoing cases related to OBC reservation (Writ Petition No. 5901/2019, 25181/2019, and others). The selection results will be issued based on 87% of the main part and 13% of the provisional part as per the letter issued by the General Administration Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh.
