Shivraj Singh Chouhan's Initiate Loan Waiver Drive For Farmers

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has made another big announcement for the farmers of Madhya Pradesh. The Shivraj government is going to pay the interest of farmers' loans. The work of applying for this has also been started. The farmers will get the benefit of this scheme.

In fact, today Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan made a big announcement in the presence of Agriculture Minister Kamal Patel. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that due to the fraud of loan waiver in Madhya Pradesh, farmers did not repay their loans, due to which a lot of interest had increased on their heads. Now the Shivraj government is going to lift this interest burden. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the government is going to deposit the entire amount in the banks on its behalf to the farmers on whom interest has increased due to the loan waiver. Filling of applications has been started for this.

Congress has promised loan waiver

Significantly, before the assembly elections, the Congress has made four major promises to the public. In this, the first promise has been made of loan waiver to the farmers. Former Chief Minister Kamal Nath has reiterated this several times that if his government is formed, the loan of two lakhs each will be waived off. In the midst of this promise, the Shivraj government has started paying the interest of the farmers.

Government is collecting data

In all the 52 districts of Madhya Pradesh, the government has started collecting data in banks and cooperative institutions, through this it will be known here that how much interest the farmers are paying due to the promise of loan waiver. After this, the interest will be paid by the government in different phases.

This effect is due to the promise of Congress

Due to the promise of loan waiver by the Congress, a large number of farmers are still not repaying their loans. It is noteworthy that 26,00,000 farmers of Madhya Pradesh have come under the category of defaulters. Most of these farmers are such who had stopped depositing money in banks due to the announcement of loan waiver. Now the announcement of paying interest by the Shivraj government will give some relief to the farmers and the name of the farmers will be removed from the category of defaulters of the banks.
