Noida fire: A massive fire broke out at a dumping ground in Noida sector-32 in the intervening night of May 18-19. The police said that the cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained.

Giving information, a senior police official said fire engines were deployed to bring the blaze under control. "The fire broke out at a dumping ground in Noida sector-32. Efforts are on to extinguish the blaze. All the officials are present on the spot," said Shakti Awasthi, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP), Noida.

Fire in Gaur City

Earlier last month in April, a few apartments of Greater Noida's Gaur City 14th Avenue caught fire. The video clip of the fire incident showed huge flames at the flats of the high-rise society. The fire incident also triggered chaos in society. However, Bisrakh police station officials reached the spot and took control of the area.

"The fire broke out in the balcony of the first floor of an apartment and then spread to the second-floor apartment also," Chief Fire Officer Pradeep Kumar Choubey said.
