CM Gupta stated, “Three new criminal laws have come into being through the Central Government
Addressing the media, CM Gupta stated, “Three new criminal laws have come into being through the Central Government. To improve the entire justice system, MedLEaPR has been introduced.”
Through MedLEaPR, we will be able to curb all of that
She pointed out that the previous system was plagued with delays, inconsistencies, and loopholes, often casting doubt on medico-legal investigations. “There used to be a delay in our justice system, loopholes were left in it, and there used to be doubts regarding discrepancies and problems. Through MedLEaPR, we will be able to curb all of that,” she said.
CM Gupta added that MedLEaPR would lead to better interdepartmental coordination and improved efficiency in handling medico-legal cases, ultimately supporting timely and fair justice delivery.
The initiative marks a key administrative reform under the amended legal framework, ensuring transparency and accountability in sensitive forensic procedures.
