Met predicts rainfall in Bihar till Saturday

Bihar has been facing heat wave and heat stroke for many days, but now the people of Bihar are expected to get relief soon. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted the arrival of monsoon by the end of the week for Bihar, which has been facing heatwave conditions for the last 20 days.

The reason for prolonged heat and heat stroke has been attributed to strong sun and absence of rain or wind. However, pre-monsoon rains have made the temperature bearable at some places. Maximum and minimum temperature figures were recorded in Bihar, in which most of the 38 districts reached 42 degree Celsius. Due to which the news of death of people due to heatstroke and later dehydration was heard.

Temperature reached 44 degree Celsius

At the same time, the district administration of many districts, including the capital Patna, had to extend the summer vacations not once but twice to ensure that small children do not fall victim to heatstroke. At the same time, the maximum temperature of 44 degree Celsius was recorded in many districts including Aurangabad, Patna, Gaya, Bhojpur, Bhagalpur, Nalanda and Sasaram.

Ashish, an IMD specialist posted in Patna said that Bihar was witnessing a heat wave for the last 17-18 days but now the temperature will drop by 2 to 4 degree Celsius. On the possibility of rain, Ashish said that today there will be scattered rain in the state and it will increase gradually. With this, by the end of this week, it will start raining in the entire state. Even after the arrival of monsoon in India, many districts of Bihar are still facing heat wave conditions.
