MP Weather Updates: Madhya Pradesh Braces for Rain Havoc! Shipra River Floods Ramghat Temples, Schools Shut

Ramghat's temple was submerged as a result of Madhya Pradesh's heavy rains and the Shipra River's increasing levels.

MP Weather Updates: Madhya Pradesh is experiencing heavy rains these days. This series of torrential rains has caused devastation in several areas of the state during this time. According to reports, the Shipra River’s water level is steadily rising and the river is in spate as a result of this severe rain. This rising water level has flooded many of Ramghat’s temples. Let us inform you that Madhya Pradesh has been experiencing severe rainfall since last evening. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning about rain for today and tomorrow in relation to this. Aside from this, holidays have been declared for all public and private schools in Ujjain due to the rising water level and water logging of the Shipra River. This has been announced by the Collector of Ujjain himself.

Devastation Strikes as Heavy Rains Cause Flooding

Heavy rains have caused the Shipra River to flood. Because of this, the river’s water level is constantly rising. The majority of the temples at Ramghat of the Shipra River have been flooded as a result of the rising water level, according to a report from the news agency ANI. While this is happening, water is still flowing around 2 feet below the large bridge on Badnagar Road. Rain has been falling continuously since last evening, raising the water level of the Shipra River and submerging all the temples in Ramghat. The administration also seems to be alert regarding this and holidays have been announced for all government and private schools.

Heavy Rainfall Forecast for Western Madhya Pradesh

The Meteorological Department has published a report. For today and tomorrow, the Meteorological Department expects heavy rain in western Madhya Pradesh. In this situation, there is suspicion that the Shipra River’s water level may rise more as a result of the growing sequence of showers, leading to water logging and more water on the ghat’s temples. Let us inform you that the Meteorological Department had issued an alert for this location yesterday as well.
