Noida News: In the vicinity of Jewar Airport, Yamuna Authority would buy property to build residential, commercial, and logistics park areas. The district administration has received a proposal from the authorities to purchase around 1500 hectares of land from 10 communities in order to establish six sectors. Ten percent of the total compensation for this land will also be sent in addition to this.

Land Acquisition Strategy

Yamuna Authority will buy land in order to initiate the project. Purchases of land for Sectors 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 11 will be made by the authority. The Sector Master Plan 2041 makes these recommendations.

In this case, Sector 5 is residential. Sectors 6 and 7 are industrial, Sectors 9 and 11 are institutional, and Sectors 7 and 8 are storage and logistics (mixed land use). Ten villages’ worth of land will be acquired for these sectors. The district administration has received a proposal from the authority to buy the land. Additionally, 10% of the compensation funds will be sent. in order for the procedure to begin.

“1500 hectares of land will be acquired near Jewar Airport to develop residential, industrial and logistics activity sectors,” stated Dr. Arunveer Singh, CEO of Yamuna Authority. It has forwarded its proposal to the district management.

Previous Allocation of Rs 1800 Crore

Yamuna Authority won’t have any financial difficulties when buying land. The government has provided Rs. 1500 crore, interest-free, for this. Prior to this, the government had already given the authority over Rs 1800 crore.

The requirement is that the authority must invest the same sum of money that the government has made available. Approximately Rs 3,000 crore will be needed to buy 1500 hectares of land. In the upcoming year, the authorities will set up a 5,000 hectare land bank. We have enough land in this bank to last for the next ten years.
