Noida News: Private Hospitals of the city will face strict action by the Health Department for proclaiming patients as Dengue Positive based on the low platelet or Rapid test Report. As Reported by Times of India, According to the CMO of Gautam Budh Nagar, Confirming Dengue on the basis of Rapid test or low platelets is unethical as it creates panic among people. If any Hospital is found declaring a patient dengue positive without Elisa Test, we will take action.

All Private Hospitals, Private labs sent Notice by CMO

All the hospitals are instructed to send the samples of suspected Dengue patients to the Central lab for Cross Checking. This year the Central Laboratory of Health tested over 1000 samples, out of which 202 patients were found Dengue Positive.

All Hospitals must keep stock of Platelets in case of Emergency’

District Magistrate also instructed the Health Department to make people aware about the precautions and follow all hygiene. He also instructed Hospitals to keep adequate stock of Platelets for emergency cases.
