Patna News: The Patna school tragedy has taken a shocking turn, with the deceased girl’s family alleging murder instead of suicide, sparking protests in the city.The tragedy that started as a report of suicide inside the school bathroom has now gone very deep. The brother of the girl reported to News18 that it is not that she committed suicide, but that she was murdered. As per News18, the locals of the area gathered at Chitkohra Golambar and began protesting, demanding that the police take strict action.

In a different tone but showing equal surprise, the girl’s brother stated, “Sir logon ka aadat kuch theek nahi…”, pointing out distrust towards the investigation. The statement suggests that the family suspects that the death was staged as a suicide. Patna News:The initial police report was indicative of the girl having suffocated because of the locked toilet and the lack of ventilation, and she ended up choking on her own vomit.

The heartbreaking words came from the girl’s younger brother, who said: “My sister was killed in a toilet…” unambiguously, stressing that it was not a suicide. His statement is very far from the police’s perspective; thus, it is causing people to question the police further and to ask them to do a thorough investigation.

Locked Toilet, Kerosene Bottle, and Closed CCTV—What Was Found

According to police reports, there were several strange things at the scene of the incident: the bathroom door was locked from the inside, and there were no windows, which seemed to point to suicide. A kerosene bottle was taken for evidence. On top of that, the seventh toilet was found to be the one that might have been abandoned and the hidden part of the mystery. Sadly, it turned out that several CCTV cameras in the area were switched off, which has raised questions about whether they were deliberately sabotaged.
