Patna News: While the Patna Police used lethal force on individuals protesting the Bihar government over the posting of teachers in the state, one BJP leader was slain. Details indicate that the BJP leader, named as Vijay Kumar Singh, passed away in the midst of continuing protests at Dakbangla Chauraha in the city. Singh was rushed to a hospital, where his death was pronounced. Sushil Modi, a Rajya Sabha member, tweeted that the BJP leader has passed away, confirming the report.

In the meanwhile, the Bihar Education Department issued an order prohibiting department employees from taking vacation time over the upcoming week. The order further stated that employees of the education department would need Deputy Secretary KK Pathak’s approval before taking leaves under unusual circumstances.
