Patna’s Air Quality Deteriorates, Deepavali Night Records Hazardous Levels Across India

Patna News: According to AQI.IN, Patna’s Air Quality Index (AQI) has plummeted to a severely poor category, with the index exceeding 400. On Deepavali night, the nationwide AQI reached a staggering 587, marking the highest levels recorded.

Furthermore, Bhagalpur has secured the 9th position in the country for poor air quality. Mumbai, Chennai, Lucknow, Kolkata, and Bhopal have reported AQI levels of 243, 221, 269, 280, and 299, respectively, all falling within the poor category.

It’s important to note that AQI is categorized as follows: 0-50 (Good), 51-100 (Satisfactory), 101-200 (Moderate), 201-300 (Poor), 301-400 (Very Poor), and 401-450 (Severe). An AQI exceeding 450 is classified as “Severe+”.
