Before the Punjab Investment 2023 Summit, a session was held in Ludhiana on Monday under the leadership of Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, after which the Chief Minister will now hold a meeting with the businessmen and investors of Jalandhar.
After this, Punjab Investment Summit 2023 (Punjab Investment Summit 2023 news) is going to be held in Mohali on February 23 and 24. Therefore, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann (Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann) himself is taking suggestions from the investors and industrialists of Punjab and also discussing the industrial policy passed by the Punjab government.
Under this, a meeting was held by the Chief Minister of Punjab with businessmen and investors at the Radisson Hotel in Ludhiana on Monday.
On this occasion, Vardhaman Steel MD Sachith Jain said that they are investing 250 crore rupees. He said that the discussion has taken place in a good atmosphere and the Chief Minister has promised us that whatever problems the industrialists have will be solved.
He also said that we have placed the water problem and many other important issues before the government and we hope that there will be good investment in Punjab.
Meanwhile, Ludhiana’s senior businessman Ajit Lakra said that the kind of environment in Punjab, it is difficult for anyone to invest. He said that the old industry is also going through very bad conditions. Ajit Lakra said that we have kept our word even regarding the industrial policy and Chief Minister Bhagwant says that his suggestions will be included in the policy.
On the other hand, the general secretary of CICU said that the conversation took place in a good atmosphere and the government is looking very serious. He said that efforts are being made by him regarding the industry and he said that the businessmen of Ludhiana have given their suggestions and the government has also given an assurance to include those suggestions.
