The ‘Mukh Mantri Sehat Yojana’ is designed to provide financial protection against medical expenses, enabling beneficiaries to access quality healthcare services without facing a financial burden.

Authorities added that the funds will be utilised to upgrade hospitals, enhance medical facilities and support various health services, including diagnostics, treatment and emergency care.

The move is expected to improve accessibility and efficiency in the healthcare sector, particularly in rural and underserved areas where access to quality medical services remains a challenge.

Officials further stated that the enhanced allocation will help in expanding the network of empanelled hospitals and strengthening the delivery of cashless treatment services under the scheme.

The government also aims to improve availability of doctors, medical staff and essential equipment, ensuring better patient care and reduced pressure on major hospitals.

The state government said the allocation reflects its broader vision of building a robust and inclusive healthcare system, ensuring that no citizen is deprived of timely and affordable medical care.
