Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that the state government is working at double speed to accelerate development across the state, following the trust and responsibility placed by the people of Punjab.
He announced that more than 19,000 roads in the state will be repaired and widened, marking one of the largest infrastructure initiatives in recent years. Mann said this step will ensure better connectivity between villages and cities, making transportation smoother and safer for residents.
Historic Decisions in Power Sector
Along with road development, the Chief Minister highlighted that the Punjab government is taking historic decisions in the power sector. The aim is to strengthen the state’s electricity infrastructure and ensure uninterrupted power supply for domestic, agricultural, and industrial consumers.
Mann emphasized that these reforms are part of his government’s broader vision to transform Punjab into a progressive and self-reliant state, where infrastructure and energy go hand in hand to support economic growth.
