Bhagwant Mann has intensified its fight against drug trafficking under the ongoing #YudhNashianVirudh campaign, completing 508 days of sustained action against narcotics networks across the state.
Bhagwant Mann Arrests 111 Drug Smugglers
According to an official update shared by the Punjab Police, law enforcement agencies arrested 111 alleged drug smugglers during the latest statewide operation. Officials also recovered 1.1 kilograms of heroin, 500 grams of opium, 299 intoxicant pills, and ₹4,600 in suspected drug money from the accused.

The operation is part of the Punjab Government’s continued efforts to dismantle drug supply chains and curb the spread of narcotics in the state.
In addition to enforcement measures, Punjab Police highlighted its focus on rehabilitation. During the drive, five individuals struggling with substance abuse were counselled and persuaded to seek de-addiction and rehabilitation treatment, reflecting the state’s dual approach of strict action against traffickers while supporting those affected by addiction.
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has consistently emphasized the government’s commitment to making Punjab drug-free through coordinated police action, public awareness, and rehabilitation initiatives.
Punjab Police stated that the anti-drug campaign will continue with regular operations targeting drug smugglers and illegal narcotics networks across the state.
