Bhagwant Mann, in coordination with the Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) Punjab, continued its statewide crackdown on organised crime under the ongoing “Gangstran Te Vaar” campaign, conducting extensive raids across identified gangster-linked locations.

According to the police, 633 raids were carried out across Punjab on Day 198 of the operation. The action resulted in the arrest of 420 individuals, including 11 proclaimed offenders, while two illegal weapons were also recovered during the coordinated enforcement drive.
Officials said the campaign is part of the state’s sustained effort to dismantle gangster networks, curb organised crime, and strengthen public safety through intelligence-based operations and targeted action.

Punjab Police stated that, with the latest operation, the total number of arrests made under the “Gangstran Te Vaar” campaign has reached 57,329 since its launch, reflecting the continued focus on law enforcement and crime prevention across the state.
The police have also appealed to the public to support the campaign by sharing information about criminal activities through the Anti-Gangster Helpline (93946-93946), assuring that information can be provided anonymously.
