Mann said he was pleased to highlight that 75.24 lakh women have already received the government’s Samman Rashi, while the remaining eligible women are expected to receive the financial assistance soon, ahead of the Rakhi festival.

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said Punjab’s daughters are increasingly making their mark across different fields and emerging as confident and empowered women rather than being viewed through outdated stereotypes.
Mann said the Punjab Government remains committed to promoting women’s dignity, respect and empowerment, while also working to make household responsibilities easier for families across the state.
The Teeyan celebration in Dhuri brought together women to mark the traditional Punjabi festival while highlighting the importance of women’s participation and progress in society.
