The Uttar Pradesh government has highlighted its efforts to strengthen youth skills, employment and entrepreneurship opportunities under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

According to the state government, more than 20 lakh young people have received skill training over the past nine years, while nearly 12.5 lakh trained youths have secured employment through various initiatives.
The government said its skill-development programmes are increasingly focusing on emerging sectors, including 3D printing and space technology, alongside conventional employment-oriented training.

The government said a network of 6,952 skill-training centres is helping prepare young people for changing industry requirements and future job markets.
The initiatives are aimed at improving employability, encouraging entrepreneurship and equipping Uttar Pradesh’s youth with skills aligned with emerging technologies and evolving workforce demands.
