Bhagwant Mann led the Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) continued their statewide crackdown on gangster networks as part of the ongoing ‘Gangstran Te Vaar’ campaign.
According to Punjab Police, teams carried out 570 targeted raids at identified locations across the state during Day 239 of the campaign. The operation resulted in the arrest of 303 individuals, including 13 proclaimed offenders.

The latest operation focused on locations that had been identified and mapped as part of the police effort to target individuals linked to gangster networks.
Punjab Police said the coordinated raids were carried out across the state with the involvement of the AGTF. During the operation, police also recovered three weapons.
Total Arrests Cross 71,000
With the latest arrests, the total number of arrests made since the launch of the Gangstran Te Vaar campaign has reached 71,257, according to Punjab Police.
The department said the sustained operations are aimed at disrupting and dismantling gangster networks operating in the state.

Punjab Police reiterated its commitment to taking action against gangster networks and maintaining public safety across Punjab.
The police have also urged citizens to share information about gangster-related activities. Information can be provided anonymously through the Anti-Gangster Helpline at 93946-93946, according to the department.
