Bhagwant Mann: Punjab Police, in coordination with the Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF), has intensified its ongoing campaign against organized crime under the initiative ‘Gangstran Te Vaar’. On Day 189 of the statewide operation, police carried out extensive raids targeting identified gangster hideouts and criminal networks across Punjab.

According to Punjab Police, a total of 593 raids were conducted during the latest phase of the operation. The coordinated action resulted in the arrest of 366 individuals, while six proclaimed offenders were also apprehended. Police teams recovered four illegal weapons during the crackdown.

Punjab Police revealed that 74,887 arrests have been made since the launch of the anti-gangster campaign, highlighting the scale of the ongoing enforcement drive against organized crime in the state.
The department has also urged citizens to support the fight against crime by sharing information about criminal activities through its Anti-Gangster Helpline (93946-93946). Authorities assured that information provided by the public will be handled confidentially.
