303 Individuals Arrested in Statewide Raids: Bhagwant Mann
According to the Punjab Police, the latest operation resulted in the arrest of 303 individuals, including seven proclaimed offenders.
The police said the raids were conducted at identified and mapped locations across Punjab as part of its continued efforts to disrupt gangster networks and their activities.
Weapon Recovered During Crackdown
The Punjab Police reported the recovery of one weapon during the latest round of operations.
The statewide action forms part of the enforcement campaign that the police has been conducting in coordination with the AGTF to target individuals and networks linked to gangster-related activities.
Total Arrests Cross 75,500
With the latest arrests, the Punjab Police said the total number of arrests made since the launch of the ‘Gangstran Te Vaar’ campaign has reached 75,535.
The police said the sustained operations are aimed at dismantling gangster networks and strengthening public safety across Punjab.
Anti-Gangster Helpline for Anonymous Information
The Punjab Police has also appealed to citizens to share information about gangster activities. The department said information can be provided anonymously through its Anti-Gangster Helpline at 93946-93946.
The appeal is part of the police’s effort to encourage public participation in identifying and disrupting organised criminal networks.
