The Punjab government is set to connect with nearly 40 lakh women as part of its outreach for the Punjab Mahila Samman Yojana, according to Aam Aadmi Party leader Baltej Pannu.

Pannu said that around 80 lakh women across the state have already registered under the welfare scheme, expressing confidence in the Bhagwant Mann government’s commitment to fulfilling its promises.

According to the party leader, beneficiaries will receive communication from the government regarding the scheme, which is aimed at supporting women across Punjab. He described the large number of registrations as a reflection of public trust in the state government’s welfare initiatives.
