Bhagwant Mann: Punjab Health Minister Dr Balbir Singh highlighted the Mukhyamantri Tirath Yatra Yojana, saying the initiative has helped elderly residents fulfil their wish of visiting religious and pilgrimage sites.
In a social media post, Dr Balbir Singh said the blessings received from elderly pilgrims who were able to undertake their first pilgrimage through the scheme were a significant aspect of the initiative.

According to Dr Balbir Singh, the Mukhyamantri Tirath Yatra Yojana has enabled senior citizens to visit religious destinations that they had previously been unable to travel to.
He said that for some elderly beneficiaries, the pilgrimage represented their first opportunity to visit such religious places.
Elderly Beneficiaries Thank Bhagwant Mann Government
Dr Balbir Singh said elderly pilgrims expressed their gratitude to Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and his government for the initiative.
According to his post, some beneficiaries also expressed support for giving the Mann government another opportunity to serve in 2027. This reflects the views expressed by the beneficiaries cited in the minister’s statement.
Focus on Service to Senior Citizens
Dr Balbir Singh described the blessings and appreciation expressed by elderly pilgrims as an important aspect of the government’s service-oriented initiative.
He said that when public service is carried out with sincerity, the goodwill and blessings of beneficiaries follow naturally.
