The ongoing campaign has yielded significant results over the past 317 days. With the latest arrests, the total number of drug smugglers apprehended during the campaign has risen to 44,191. Senior officials stated that the consistent pressure on drug networks is aimed at breaking both street-level peddling and larger organised trafficking operations.

Alongside strict law enforcement, the Mann government has placed strong emphasis on rehabilitation and social reform. Under the De-addiction and Rehabilitation initiative, 18 individuals were motivated on the same day to undergo treatment, reinforcing the government’s dual strategy of enforcement and recovery.

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has repeatedly underlined that the fight against drugs is not limited to arrests alone but is a long-term mission to protect Punjab’s youth and future. The state government has reiterated its commitment to a Nasha Mukt Punjab, combining police action, awareness drives, and rehabilitation programmes to address the drug menace comprehensively.

Punjab Police officials said the campaign will continue with the same intensity in the coming days, with coordinated efforts from enforcement agencies and community participation to ensure lasting impact.
