According to AAP Punjab, the Government Girls School in Jandiala Guru has been upgraded into a School of Eminence, with the state government giving priority to strengthening educational facilities and learning opportunities.
Punjab government has consistently emphasized education as a key area of governance
Cabinet Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO said the improved education infrastructure has translated into better academic results. In 2022, around 250 students scored above 80% in their examinations. The number has steadily increased, and this year 509 students secured more than 90% marks, reflecting what the government describes as the success of its education initiatives.
The Punjab government has consistently emphasized education as a key area of governance, with investments aimed at modernizing government schools and improving learning outcomes across the state.
