Bhagwant Mann: Punjab Class 12 results declared; girls secure top three positions

Suhani Chauhan from BCM Senior Secondary School, Jamalpur Colony, Ludhiana, secured the second position in the Humanities stream.

Bhagwant Mann on Tuesday congratulated students after the declaration of Class 12 board examination results by the Punjab School Education Board, highlighting that girls secured the top three positions in the state this year as well.

According to the results announced by the board for the March 2026 regular examinations, Supneet Kaur from Mansa district secured the first position, while Suhani Chauhan and Divanshi from Ludhiana district secured the second and third positions respectively.

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann described the achievement as a matter of pride for the state and congratulated the students, their parents and teachers for the success.

Students from Mansa and Ludhiana shine

As per the merit details released by the board, Supneet Kaur, a Science stream student from Gurukul Academy Public Senior Secondary School in Utta, Mansa, secured the first rank with a perfect score.

Suhani Chauhan from BCM Senior Secondary School, Jamalpur Colony, Ludhiana, secured the second position in the Humanities stream, while Divanshi from Teja Singh Sutantar Memorial Senior Secondary School, Shimlapuri, Ludhiana, secured the third rank.

Officials said all three students achieved outstanding scores in the examination, bringing recognition to their schools and districts.

Bhagwant Mann said the students’ success marks only the beginning of their future achievements and expressed confidence that their hard work would help them achieve greater milestones in life.

The Chief Minister also praised teachers and parents for their contribution to the students’ academic performance and encouraged the successful candidates to continue working hard and contribute positively towards society and the nation.
