Bhagwant Mann in coordination with the Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF), continued its statewide crackdown on organized crime under the ongoing ‘Gangstran Te Vaar’ campaign, carrying out targeted raids at identified locations across the state.

According to Punjab Police, 569 raids were conducted as part of the latest operation, leading to the arrest of 381 individuals, including eight proclaimed offenders who were wanted in various criminal cases.

During the operation, police also recovered seven illegal weapons, which officials said forms part of continued efforts to dismantle gangster networks and curb organized criminal activities across Punjab.
Authorities stated that the intelligence-based raids were carried out simultaneously at multiple locations to identify and apprehend individuals allegedly linked to gangster groups and other criminal networks.
Punjab Police said that with the latest action, the total number of arrests made since the launch of the ‘Gangstran Te Vaar’ campaign has reached 41,065.
Officials reiterated their commitment to maintaining a zero-tolerance approach towards organized crime and strengthening public safety through sustained enforcement operations. The department also appealed to citizens to support the campaign by sharing information related to gangster activities through the Anti-Gangster Helpline (93946-93946), assuring confidentiality for informants.
Punjab Police said the campaign will continue with coordinated operations aimed at dismantling criminal networks and ensuring a safer environment across the state.
