Leaders of Congress, Shiromani Akali Dal and BJP gathered in a meeting in Jalandhar a few days ago. In this gathering, everyone raised questions on the policies and actions of the Punjab government. Former Punjab Congress President Navjot Singh Sidhu and Akali Dal General Secretary Bikram Majithia also hugged each other in this function.
Punjab’s CM Bhagwant Mann tweeted today and took a jibe at all of them in the style of his poetry. In this tweet, CM Mann has described Akali Dal’s Bikram Majithia, Badal family and the BJP government at the center as the same platter. Chief Minister Mann tweeted, “Those who feed bread to General Dyers, burn tanks at religious places, insult Guru Sahib, fight for the country in the name of religion, make anti-farmer laws, make smugglers sit in the room.” Those who clap and earn money from the memorials of the martyrs, all of them all are ” Ek Hi Thali Ke Chatte Batte Hai”.
Sidhu and Majithia had hugged
This meeting of all the opposition parties against the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government of Punjab took place in Jalandhar on Thursday. Meanwhile, Navjot Singh Sidhu and Bikram Singh Majithia, who are fierce opponents of each other, hugged each other, after which everyone was surprised. It is worth mentioning that Akali Dal President Sukhbir Badal, Congress President Amarinder Singh Raja Wading, Senior Leader Pratap Bajwa, Punjab BJP President Ashwini Kumar Sharma and leaders of many different parties were present in this meeting.
Sidhu publicly called Majithia a white businessman in the assembly. On the other hand, Majithia used to taunt Sidhu by calling him clapping. Even Sidhu had called Majithia as liquor mafia, drug mafia.
